This is great advice, I agree having big goals is fun to dream but the work involved is mundane and extremely frustrating, thanks for sharing something I can relate to at the moment.

When a fundraiser is hired for a position, they know it’s going to be a long slog until they get REAL money. If you want to raise $1M, you need to put in time, energy, and strategy to get it. And you need to have good people around you supporting you towards this goal.
When you start a blog, unless you’re blogging for an established company, you know it’s going to be a long slog until you get LOTS of readers. But if you’ve got the patience, and can write and start to build the relationships, you’re going to have the readers you want.
You will get there, if you keep working at it.
