The folks over at YouTube just sent me a free e-guide on video.  It’s called Playbook Guide: YouTube for Good, and you can access it for free here.

The Guide walks you through how to create effective videos on a shoestring - and how to use YouTube for Good to engage your community.

If you’re looking for inspiration, here is one shoestring video I really like.  It connects, tells a great story and shows where the money goes.  That’s how it’s done - and done well.

That is a really neat book, a lot of great information in there and I’ll be sure to had a full read only just browsed through it. Thank you!

Katya. This is so timely. Our nonprofit has just made a move to make media a core aspect of our organization, and we were at a standstill for how to get started while being professional and effective. I’ve noticed such a shift in the way that people perceive nonprofits, especially my generation, and I am so much more inclined to support a nonprofit if the media is moving, effective, and if the website has a professional, high-tech appeal. Thanks for the free resource!

Making videos can be fun and interesting with our own purposes. However, if we can make them for good purpose like charity, they are more meaningful and inspiring. With that guide, I’m doing my first meaningful videos. Thanks all.

These actions, if performed on purpose, are known as wheelies and stoppies respectively.
