How to write your next message: Intimate and simple

How to be intimate:

Have a distinct audience in mind when you write.  Reading a bad message is like listening to a dry lecture to 600 people.  Reading a good message is like reading a letter someone sat down and wrote, just for you.

How to be simple:

The number of messages we use is inversely proportional to the number that is remembered.  If we try to say too much, we end up saying nothing at all.

I really try and still stick to the basics still and find this to be effective
THIS IS WHAT WE NEED

THIS IS WHO WE NEED IT FROM

THIS IS WHAT OTHER ACTION YOU CAN TAKE IF YOU DONT QUALIFY FOR THIS ONE

Usually it works like a charm and people are very receptive to being straightforward with them, especially on social media outlets.

Thanks for sharing your thougs on sms messaging. So often I tap out a message only to stop and rewrite half of it, someimes I end up not sending anything at all! Next time I will try to keep it simple. Thanks again Katya, great advice as always.

I like the way you said this in 2 short paragraphs: short, sweet, and to the point. smile
