Here’s a taste:

One screenwriting guru, Michael Hauge, boils all stories down to three elements.. They are

character;
desire;
conflict.

That’s it.  You have those three, and you have a story.

You are absolutely correct…if more story writers, screenwriters and long winded conversationalists could understand how simple this is, we’d have much better books, movies and chats around the water cooler. smile
