I was recently talking to a fundraising guru who has started her own blog - Jennifer McCrea - about the blogs I follow. I am sharing with her my nonprofit blog reading list in Google Reader. Then it occurred to me: Why not share it with everyone?
Here’s a feed of posts from the 100+ nonprofit blogs I follow.
If this overwhelms you, try putting some of your favorites into your own reader and follow a select few.

How do you find the time to follow all these blogs let alone digest all the wonderful ideas in them. Any tips on your time management technique will be helpful to those of us trying to follow less blogs but who are still overwhelmed by the information overload. There is a lot of social media noise and I am still trying to find an effective way to cut through all that noise and discern the essential nuggets of wisdom that are out there.
Thanks!!!!!
Hi Harry - do you have google reader? It allows you to breeze through the headlines of all unread blog posts in a matter of minutes. I try to limit the time I spend to about 30 min., which is possible with this tool. I find the 30 min is well worth the time given the creative charge the reading gives me in all my work.
Thanks for the heads up on Google Reader. I will install that and start working with it.
Let me know when you do and I can email you my list of blogs to upload into the Reader!
I will try the reader. thanks for the advice.
The problem is once I get started reading the Blogs, I have a hard time pulling myself away from them and end up spending several hours reading!
I’ll try the reader. Maybe it will help.
